What Makes this Shoe Unique?
Well the fact that it looks like it time traveled straight from the 90’s is what makes it stand out the most.
When I see these shoes I think of Spice Girls.
These are the types of sneakers they would wear back in the day, which is one of the reasons they have a good reputation.
They are very unique and stand out to everybody nearby.
The extra large rubber sole is a feature that stood out to me right away because it adds more shock absorption, making walking around all day a breeze.
They make good Instagram and Pinterest photos too!

Things You Should Know About the Disruptor II Sneaker
Super Trendy and Cute
One thing you should know is that these shoes are trendy and get lots of compliments.
They are loved by women all over the world.
There are even hundreds of Instagram and Pinterest accounts dedicated to posting pictures with cute and stylish shoes just like these!
So if you must know, even though they are a retro-styled shoe from the 90’s, they are in fashion today and lots of people absolutely love them.
They Run Half a Size too Small
There are lots of reviews claiming they run half a size too small.
The best way to fix this is to order half a size more than you normally would.
For example: if you’re a size 6, get a size 6.5 instead.
Or if you’re a size 8.5, get a 9.
Good for Wide Feet and Foot Deformities
These shoes are loved due to the bulky construction.
This allows people with wide feet to fit comfortably without experiencing pain or discomfort, and more importantly, their feet splitting out the sides.
Those with foot deformities such as bunions or hammertoes also enjoy the benefits of this shoe while keeping comfortable.
I mean, there are 60 year old’s wearing them because of how comfortable they are!
They Make You Stand Tall
If you’re a bit of a shorty and want to increase your height, then these are definitely for you.
They are big and bulky, specifically designed to increase shock absorption and add visual impact.
But the other benefit is that it increases your height by at least an inch and a half.
If you’re looking to grow taller and increase your confidence with every stride you take, then these will work in your favor.
So you’ve probably heard me talk about how comfortable these shoes are throughout this article.
But that’s because they really are thanks to the added shock absorption, padded collar, tongue and lining.
They really do feel like walking on clouds and can keeps you comfortable all day, everyday without experiencing pain or irritation.
Lots of Support for High Arch
These shoes offer lots of arch support for high arch.
Users claim that they have a high arch and nothing fit them comfortably until they purchased the Fila Women’s Disruptor II Sneaker and it changed the entire game for them.
That also means those with a neutral arch will find them comfortable too!
They are High Value for Money
These are the most high value money for shoes I have reviewed thus far.
When I was reviewing them I thought they would be at least $100, but they are nowhere near that price.
The feedback I found is on more expensive shoes, so these are definitely high value for money considering they’re around 50 bucks.
Price & Purchase Details
They are available in stores but people have checked online while in stores and found them to be cheaper on Amazon.com.
So of course the rational thing would do is to leave and order them online instead.
And that’s why I always recommend Amazon as my #1 source of shopping. I mean, I don’t even go to the mall these days because it’s just too much work 😛
Amazon has a 30-day return policy, free shipping and the fastest deliveries.
Pros and Cons
- Very cute and gets lots of compliments
- High value for money
- Very comfortable, good for all day support
- Good for neutral and high arch
- Great shoes for those with foot deformities
- Lots of room for wide feet
- Super trendy
- Retro-style appearance
- Not a daily sneaker
- Does not make a good walking or running shoe
Do I Recommend this Shoe?
In all honesty, these are amazing for the price and possess comfort that more expensive shoes don’t even have.
The padded collars and tongue make them fit snug.
However, because they are around $40 – $80 (depending on the color and size you get), they aren’t going to last a long time.
Users get a few months out of them with everyday use, which is not that bad considering how cheaply priced they are.
Although I don’t think they should be used everyday if you want maximum lifespan out of them.
They are good for eventual usage and going out with friends, but they should not be used as a daily sneaker if you want to get the most life out of them.
Unless of course you’re willing to pay $50 every few months for a new pair.
But in my opinion, the good far outweigh the bad and that’s why I highly recommend the Fila Women’s Disruptor II Sneaker.
These are not good for walking all day since the quality is kind of low, so my recommended shoe for all day/everyday use is the Women’s Cloudfoam Pure Running Shoe. Plus they are the same price!
Another shoe I recommend for ultimate versatility is the ASICS GEL-Venture 5 Running Shoe. It’s comfortable, in the same price range as the other shoes but lasts much longer.
However, they definitely aren’t as good-looking.
My Final Opinion
For the price of the Fila Women’s Disruptor II Sneaker, you can’t go wrong.
I am a huge fan of these shoes and might get some for my girlfriend for her birthday.
They are so comfortable it’s virtually a steal with how much comfort they provide, and that’s why I can’t recommend them enough.
There are far more pros than cons, and the amount of benefits they provide are well worth the money.
Of course they are in no shape for running or fitness walking, but eventual use or going and enjoying lunch and a drink with friends is what these are designed for.
And that wraps up my opinion on the Fila Disruptor II Sneaker.
