Reebok have some of the best cross training shoes out there. Personally I think this is where they outperform the market.
Athletes use Reebok for the simple reason that their shoes work and Reebok know how to construct them properly.
However, as some of you may know, creating a great cross training shoe is not easy.
First you need the comfort, the stability for directional movements, the traction for quick bursts, the durability for rope climbs, and much more.
Some companies cannot get this right because everything has to be consistent across the board.
You can’t be lacking in any areas.
So I hope to educate you on this shoe and explain what it is all about and what you’re getting yourself into.
Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 Review
Product Name: Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0
Designed for: Circuit training, cardio
Weight: Unknown, but claims to be lightweight
Price: $100 – $190
Overall Rating: 4.75/5
There is nothing wrong with this shoe other than the fact some people can’t fit it properly. However, this is only a small minority, while everyone else absolutely loves it. It’s built tough and can handle a couple years of use. For $100 that is well worth the money.
So what is the Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 Shoe?
It is created for cross training, designed for intense workout sessions like CrossFit, HIIT cardio, circuit training, and more.
It’s an upgrade of the original Reebok Crossfit Nano but with increased flexibility and breathability, while maintaining everything else.
And it looks like they have succeeded.
It features a durable rubber outsole to stay gripped to the ground, and a low-profile design for cushioning and mobility
It is lightweight and breathable, but durable at the same time.
How does the quality compare to the price?
Well the price is around $100 if you shop with Amazon, otherwise Reebok have them for $190.
While scouring reviews, it’s a no-brainer that they’re made with quality construction.
People say they take an absolute beating and still look new and perform.
They even last for years for some people and that’s why they keep coming back to buy more.
I mean, on average, a pair of $100 shoes will last less than a year.
You’ll be lucky to get more than a year out of them.
To see that the Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 lasts at least a couple years makes it well worth the price since you get more than the average $100 shoe.
Are they true so size?
No doubt you have a lot of things on your mind when looking for a new shoe, but one of the most important questions is “are they true to size”?
If you’ve bought shoes online before you already know that it can be frustrating finding them on your door step, being excited about trying them on, only to find them too tight or too loose.
Well fortunately Reebok are pretty consistent with their sizing, and the Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 is no different.
They have a 90% fit rate on Amazon.
90% of people who used them found them comfortable and perfect sizing!
This is good news as most shoes have a fit rate of 70 – 75%.
So what are they used for?
Reebok claims that they are good for circuit training and cardio days.
Another word for this is crossfit and high intense workout sessions.
Basically, they are designed to take a beating in the gym.
They are a cross training shoe, so they can be used for throwing around weights, running a circuit, climbing up and down ropes, blasting out more weights, then finishing off with cardio.
The easiest way to describe these are a “full-blown gym shoe”.
They are good for everything in the gym and should be kept to the gym only.
They should not be used for casual use, standing all day, running, or even walking for that matter, because they are not designed for it.
A strict note:
Some of you may already know this but some beginners will not.
Cross trainers have the comfort and support to be used for short distance running and walking.
That means if your workout needs some sprints or a 10-minute cool down session on the treadmill, that is completely fine.
But don’t go to the gym thinking you can spend hours on the treadmill.
Get running shoes for that!
Where does the negative reviews come from?
One reviewer says she bought a pair of mens shoes because she has extremely wide feet, yet found them too uncomfortable.
So she decided to blame the shoe and give it 2 stars!?!
Come on, that is not fair if she was shopping in the mens section.
Another reviewer claimed she didn’t like it because it didn’t “fit the anatomical shape of her foot”.
Since where does it say that it’s supposed to do that on their website? No where.
Others gave it low stars because they didn’t fit properly.
I mean, I get that some may be upset because of this.
But most of these complaints are just wrong and have nothing to do with the performance of the shoe.
If it doesn’t fit, send it back and get your money back or a different size.
But there’s no need to damage the reputation if there’s literally nothing wrong with it.

- One of the better cross training shoes I’ve reviewed
- Performs flawlessly
- Amazing durability. Can last a couple years

- Lightweight and breathable
- Some people order the wrong size
- Narrow midfoot
Do I recommend them?
Reebok have done everything right and nothing wrong.
I mean, I had to search high and low just to find any bad points because everyone loved them.
Those that have bad things to say are talking about the sizing being off.
However, that’s just a small number of people as you can clearly see that they have a 90% fit rate.
Reebok are really good at creating cross training shoes and this is just another one to add to the collection!
At least I know where I’ll be getting my next cross training shoe from.
Well actually not, as I’m more of a weight lifter than a cross trainer.
But that’s where my opinion stands out, as I am an avid gym goer and know what lifting and exercising consists of.
Well anyway, we’re going off topic here.
Do I recommend the Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 shoes?
They perform, they take a beating, they are durable and hella comfortable.
And if you decide to buy these shoes, you can’t go wrong!
As mentioned already, Reebok create amazing cross training shoes.
Another one I recently reviewed are called the Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave.
They are a better fit for anyone with wide feet.
The Crossfit Nano 2 has a little bit of a narrow midfoot which is going to cause some problems for anyone with wide feet.
They also last for years, have immense durability, and have a good price tag.
They are similar in their own ways but better suited for those with a wide midfoot.
My final opinion
If you want an all-around gym shoe that you can count on to last a long time, this is definitely it.
Everyone says they take a beating and perform incredibly well.
I wasn’t expecting them to be as good as they are, but at the end of the day Reebok are a great brand and know how to create flawless products.
So that’s my final opinion on the Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0 shoes.
