You probably have so many questions, and hopefully I can answer them all in this article.
I’m here to help you make a fully informed decision. I hope you enjoy my Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave review!
So without further ado, let’s get right into it 🙂
Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave Review
Product Name: Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave
Designed for: Cross training
Weight: 10 ounces (not pounds, ounces!)
Price: $110 – $220
Overall Rating: 4.8/5
The Nano 8 Flexweave are truly a one-of-a-kind. They are always ready to tackle any workout you throw at it as it has the quality and performance to back it up. It weighs a mere 10 ounces which feels like nothings on your feet and still lasts over 2 years!
You’ve probably already seen all the features on the official product website but don’t know what they do.
This is where I come in and explain what all the features are and how they benefit you.
Flexweave upper – Provides breathability, stability and durability
Heel bootie – Ultimate performance comfort
Forefoot flex grooves – Increases the flexibility in the toe area which also makes it comfortable for other activities
Low-cut design – Adds mobility, especially during intense cross training sessions
Toe Tection – Increases durability in the toe box area for more life span
Quality VS Price
When it comes to cross training, you need a shoe that can “do it all” WHILE handling high intense activities.
The price ranges from $110 – $220 which is a good sign.
This shows that the quality is high and Reebok have done everything they can for it to last a long time.
Going through the reviews it’s clear as day that they are incredibly coooooomfortable.
And those aren’t my words, that’s what everyone else says about them.
The Flexweave upper breaths and offers immense durability at the same time, creating a much better upper than single-layer mesh.
Although single-layer mesh does offer more ventilation and cut down on weight, it does not provide durability.
Reebok have done an incredible job creating these shoes and have everything in mind.
From the strong but breathable upper, stability to maximum comfort.
Some people say they feel like they’re walking on clouds after putting them on.
So how does the price compare to the quality?
The price is a little high but the quality is up there, the features are there and the comfort.
Are they true to size?
Keep in mind that the toe box has extra room in them.
This allows the toes to spread out naturally and doesn’t restrict movement or mobility.
You might think they are a little big but this is done on purpose to better the performance.
Regarding the width, most people say they fit true to size and others say they are too narrow.
However, those people have wide feet and I recommend going 1/2 a size up.
Otherwise you can get your normal size and it should fit fine 🙂
What are they best used for?
They are cross training shoes, meaning they are a hybrid of other different shoes.
They are best used for crossfit and other cross training workouts, but can also be used for weightlifting thanks to the stabilization.
This allows you to lift heavy weights without fear of injury.
If you decide to use them for anything else please know that they should be used carefully as sports does require a different movement pattern than crossfit.
Also do NOT wear them for running or walking.
Running and walking has a forward motion, not side-to-side. There will be too much discomfort and possibly pain.
If your workout requires a bit of running, that is completely fine as long as it’s short distance.
Has everything a great crossfit shoe needs
Everyone loves it because it performs for their crossfit activities.
They are perfect for short sprints, short distance running, rope climbs, fast burst movements, and everything else you need for your crossfit workouts.
Plus the low-cut design adds mobility which is going to help move faster, robe climb better, jump quicker, and run faster in all directions.
Reebok have gone all out with this shoe and that’s something that needs to be emphasized.
They haven’t left anything out and that’s why they have a higher price tag than other cross training shoes.
Do they last?
No doubt you want to know how long they will last if you’re paying over $100.
As it turns out, some people use them for months and they still feel brand new.
There’s no defects and little-to-no signs of wear and tear.
It’s not uncommon for people to see their Nano 8 shoes last at least 2 years!
The average life span of the Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave shoes is 2 years.
And that’s after using them about 5x per week.
Some people continue to come back and make more purchases because of how much they love them, how long they last and how well they perform!

There are a few complaints about the shoe being too narrow and tight for them.
Yes there is an increased toe box but that is not enough space for anyone with wide feet, and that’s why I recommend going 1/2 size up if that’s you.
Anyone else with neutral feet should be fine.
Is that it?
Fortunately that’s the only bad thing I could find that was worth mentioning.
Other complaints are about quality control which has nothing to do with the shoe at all.
This is good news as it shows that we are dealing with a wonderful sneaker that does nothing but perform and last a long time.
Pros and Cons
- Immense stability, especially for weightlifting and crossfit
- High value for money
- High quality, can last for years
- Immense comfort
- Versatile. Can be used for cross training, sprints, rope climbs, etc
- Some say they are too narrow
Do I recommend them?
At the end of the day, they are built to perform.
They are ready to tackle any workout you throw at it.
Reebok have done a great job at creating this shoe and has the love from the community to back it up.
Other cross trainers don’t last anywhere as long as these, not even close (even with the same price tag!)
The Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave easily last over 2 years with frequent use.
So do I recommend them?
They might be a little expensive but definitely pays for itself in the long run when you don’t have to buy new shoes every 6 months!
My Final Opinion
I did not expect this review to go as well as it did.
I don’t usually praise shoes as often as this one but it does happen to be that good.
I have no issues apart from it being too narrow.
Other than that it has everything of a great cross trainer and I stand by its capabilities 100%.
I mean, you just have to look at how much people come back for more.
Some have up to 5 pairs!
If you’re serious about cross training, these shoes are for you.
If you want something you can count on for your WOD, this is it.
If you want something that will last and have your back for every workout.
You guesses it, the Reebok Crossfit Nano 8 Flexweave is for you.
So that’s my final opinion.
I hope you learned a lot in this review.
